Possesses extensive expertise in the double‑polishing of optical glass, responsible for ensuring timely completion of production orders in the assigned workshop, as well as managing personnel, overseeing production equipment, maintaining production safety, and conducting on‑site management.

1. Based on the product drawings and process sheets, perform workpiece clamping, surface alignment, machine setup, sample production, and first‑article inspection on the CNC engraving machine, and oversee mass production.

2. Use software such as JDSoft, Mastercam, and UG to create or modify toolpath programs, debug G-code, optimize cutting parameters, and address issues like chatter marks, tool‑mark transitions, edge chipping, and dimensional deviations, thereby improving yield and reducing tool wear.

3. Proficiently use calipers, micrometers, and 2D measuring instruments for self-inspection; promptly address on-site quality issues and submit corrective action plans.

4. Perform daily equipment inspections, cleaning, and maintenance; identify and report minor malfunctions; maintain 5S standards at your workstation; and strictly adhere to the workshop’s safety operating procedures.

Job Details:

1. More than 3 years of independent experience operating DISCO dicing saws, with expert proficiency in both the equipment’s software (e.g., the latest version of the DISCO user interface) and its hardware architecture.

2. Familiar with the cutting processes for microprisms, filters, and miniature optical components, with hands-on experience in edge‑chipping control for brittle materials such as glass and crystals (e.g., edge chipping < 5 µm).

3. Able to independently perform equipment commissioning tasks such as turret calibration, spindle vibration monitoring, and coolant flow/pressure adjustment.

Bonus points:

1. Possesses experience in the cold machining of mass-produced microprisms, such as right-angle prisms, Powell prisms, and PBS prisms.

2. Familiar with optical inspection equipment (such as interferometers, microscopes, and coordinate measuring machines) for evaluating cutting quality.

3. Understand the requirements of subsequent microprism processing steps—such as chamfering, polishing, and coating—for cut‑edge quality.

Capable of designing cutting paths using CAD/CAM software, or proficient in operating online systems for GEM/LTS‑type equipment.
